Letzte Woche waren Dr. Magdalena Gebala vom Deutschen Kulturforum östliches Europa und ein Kamerateam des Filmgymnasium Babelsberg um Filmemacher/Abiturient David Katz in Allenstein/Olsztyn zu Besuch, um einen Dokumentarfilm über mich und meine Arbeit als Stadtschreiber zu drehen. Das Filmgymnasium dreht seit mehreren Jahren solche Filme für das Kulturforum, und „mein“ fertiger Film feiert seine Premiere im November in Potsdam und wird dann Anfang nächsten Jahres mit polnischen Untertiteln in Allenstein/Olsztyn gezeigt werden.
Last week, Dr Magdalena Gebala from the Culture Forum for Central and Eastern Europe and a film team from the film school in Babelsberg around film maker and graduate David Katz were in town to shoot a documentary about me and my work as writer in residence. The school produces these films for the Cultural Forum for many years, and ‚my‘ film will premiere in Potsdam in November and then, with Polish subtitles, be shown in Olsztyn early next year. Exciting.
